Year of Justice

2015, the "Year of Justice, " pays tribute to the Bohemian theologian and reformer Jan Hus. Hus, who had traveled to Constance to defend his teachings, was sentenced and burned to death on 6 July 1415. A year later, his companion Jerome of Prague befell the same fate. International and ecumenical memorial events will commemorate the two steadfast men and encourage debate on issues such as tolerance, dealing with other faiths, and changing values.
